 This satay spice blend is an aromatic and flavorful blend of single-origin spices that can spice up to two pounds of protein, enough for a hearty meal for four.

Auria's satay spice blend is a tribute to the many satay vendors found in the small town of Kajang, which is famous for its mouthwatering satay. For the most authentic Malaysian satay experience, you need to only follow a few instructions. First, in a bowl or gallon bag, combine all but one tablespoon of the satay spice blend with vegetable oil and chicken, beef, pork, or protein of choice cut into bite-sized pieces. Marinate overnight. Place the protein onto pre-soaked bamboo skewers and then grill until the meat is cooked through. Use the remaining satay spice blend for a mouthwatering peanut sauce for dipping.

You can also mix the satay blend with ground meat and make deliciously aromatic meatballs out of it.

Auria's spice blend is handmade in small batches and has no added salt and no added preservatives.

About the maker: Auria's Malaysian Kitchen is based out of Brooklyn, New York City. Auria was born in Malaysia and learned how to cook delicious meals in her mother's kitchen with Malay, Chinese, and Indian influences. In college, she prepared traditional Malaysian meals for her friends and in 2011 she hosted an underground supper club series where she continued to cook her favorite dishes for her guests. All of this influenced her decision to launch Auria's Malaysian Kitchen with the goal of getting incredible and authentic Malaysian food into the hands of the American public.
