Tomato Ponzu

Ponzu is a nearly colorless, citrus-based sauce commonly found in Japanese cuisine. Though it's popular to find it blended with soy sauce added to it, creating the darker sauce that you may be more familiar with. In this version, Yakami Orchards carefully marries Momotaro tomato and sudachi lime citrus with the umami flavors of tamari, bonito, and kombu seaweed. This tomato ponzu is crafted skillfully in accordance with Kyoto traditions and gives this ponzu a bright, complex flavor profile.

Use this as a base for brunch drinks, a dipping sauce for dumplings or seafood, or mix it into marinades or dressings. It would pair beautifully with a tomato-forward salad this summer.

This ponzu is unfiltered, so some debris and sediment is normal.
